Training on dynamism, diversification, sophistication and products space in Oman

3 – 6 April | Muscat, Oman

Oman’s recently approved National Program for Enhancing Economic Diversification promotes non-oil sectors of the economy and outlines alternatives to support national economic and development efforts in the country. One of the challenges consists in translating this initiative into concrete performance indicators.

From 3 to 6 April 2017, UNIDO organized a training course for Government officials teaching them about dynamism, diversification, sophistication and products space. It shed light on methodologies to analyze diversification and to set quantitative industrial strategy objectives.
